The ancient ruins stand above the water for all to see and sail past them. 

Visit the Unique Kalekoy Village

Kalekoy is a quaint village that people can take a boat to visit. The inhabitants of this scenic village have been living there for hundreds of years. Besides the breathtaking landscape, Kalekoy Village once used to be the ancient city of Simena and is home to many ruins of the Lycian Empire. 

This village also boasts the Hellenistic Theatre and a medieval castle that serves stunning views of the Kekova island. Visitors can explore the remains of the pier and the Sarcophagi scattered all over the village.

Another beach to visit is Patara beach. As beautiful as it is, Patara beach can get quite crowded with families. One thing to note is that the beach closes at sundown because it is also used to breed turtles. 

One of the nearest beaches to Kas is the Big Pebble Beach, or Buyuk Cakil Beach, which serves incredibly laid-back vibes and is only about 500 metres away from another pristine beach called the Kucuk Cakil or Small Pebble beach.
