Teknofest contests’ registration extended

One of the world’s technology and aviation festival Teknofest has extended its deadline for those who wish to register to contest in the competition till 31st of March 2022. The festival which is held in famous cities of Turkey like Istanbul, is going to take place at Carsamba Airport of Samsun province on the Black Sea coast of Turkey from the 30th of August to the 4th of September 2022. 

16 competitions are going to take place this year in fields of biotechnology innovation, digital technologies in industries, World Drone cup, artificial intelligence in health, technology for humanity, barrier-free living, educational technologies, unmanned underwater systems, flying cars, smart transportation, environment and energy, tourism technologies and robotics, rocket designing, and agricultural technologies.

Young people in primary schools up to those in colleges around the world who are technology savvy are encouraged to apply for competitions on the Teknofest website “teknofest.org”. Teams that succeed past the pre-selection stage will be awarded $ 810.000 (12 million Lira).

Turkish Industry and Technology companies together with the Turkish Technology Team Foundation are the organizers for Teknofest Aerospace and Technology Festival. Other public institutions, dominant technology companies, universities, and media organizations will be supporting this festival throughout its course.

Due to increased popularity and support from the international community, for the first time this contest will also be held abroad in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan in May 2022 and this is going to offer more opportunities for young people to showcase their talents in the technology world.
