Coastal Kartal

Kartal is one of the newly developed areas in Istanbul. It is quieter than other areas of the city with panoramic vistas of the Princes Islands. Located on the Asian side next to Maltepe, Sultanbeyli and Pendik on the shores of the Marmara Sea, Kartal has some major attractions. 

The type of housing you’ll find here is newer with more designer elements, earthquake safety features, and sells at lower prices than properties in the majority of the districts in Istanbul. The combination of high quality, bargain prices, and access to public coastal areas as well as its proximity to Atasehir, the new financial district, is driving professionals and families to the neighborhood. The spectacular coastline offers space to visit the cafes, enjoy the playgrounds, stroll or jog, ride bikes and picnic. The coastal living offers a rich social life close to home. Since the 2007 announcement by the Greater Istanbul Municipality that a new urban environment would be established in Kartal with a business district, cultural facilities and recreational areas, marina and touristic amenities development has been rapid. Special attention has been paid to the transportation options. It is the terminal station of the M4 Metro to Kadikoy, and communter rails from Haydarpasa-Gebze also stop here. Kartal is close to the E-5 highway for those with cars or wanting to catch a taxi.
