There are several publications in print and online to read to get an in-depth look at what is happening in Turkey. Here are some of the famous broadcasters who can help you to follow the local Turkish news in English.

Hurriyet Daily News founded in 1961 is Turkey’s oldest English language daily. Op-eds, local, regional and national news are featured in this daily publication.

Daily Sabah is also available in Arabic and was founded in 2014. The long-running popular ex-pats corner feature covers subjects of interest to transplants to Turkey and both publications also chronicle cultural reporting.

Anadolu Agency is like the Associated Press (AP) and sends up-to-date articles on the wire to outlets around the world.

TRT World is a Turkish public broadcaster. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, it provides worldwide news and has studios around the world. Its mission is to show events from Turkey's viewpoint to a non-Turkish audience. You can watch everything from sports coverage to live broadcasts from the ground.

Cornucopia, dubbed as the publication for connoisseurs of Turkish culture and heritage, this attractive magazine is one to keep on the coffee table. For those interested in Turkish culture, pick up this publication that only comes out three times a year. Covering Turkish history, art, literature with regular features on food, life, and more.
